Amentum Capital was founded in 2005.The establishment of the company was driven by HSH Nordbank's desire to create its own aviation asset and remarketing expert. Today Amentum Capital is a boutique, full-service, global aircraft leasing company offering a broad range of asset management and aviation advisory services to the airline industry and investment community.

Amentum Capital is the exclusive re-marketing agent for HSH Nordbank Group, a major player in the global aviation finance market with an aircraft finance portfolio of over USD 8 billion in 750 aircraft.

Amentum Capital is also the investment adviser and asset manager for the Global Aviation Fund I (GAF I). GAF I is a USD 1.3 billion closed-end fund that invests in modern commercial aviation assets operating worldwide. GAF I currently is invested in 18 aircraft and expects ultimately to invest in up to 25 aircraft.
